A Clinical Guide to Complete Denture Prosthodontics

This course will review principles and procedures necessary for complete denture fabrication, including philosophy of denture prosthodontics and the clinical and laboratory components.
Basic techniques will be reviewed in treating patients requiring complete dentures and the importance of proper diagnosis and treatment planning for complete denture treatment will be emphasized. The intention of this text is to explain the different modalities available in the field of complete denture techniques and how they apply to conventional, immediate and overdenture applications as well as repair, reline and rebasing applications.
OBJECTIVES
A guide to a systematic approach to developing a protocol to fabricate complete dentures from start to finish. It is meant to serve as a stepwise clinical guide for reference to reinforce basic principles of design and fabrication of complete dentures.
