Nadim Baba DMD

Dr. Baba has published six scientific articles in the past five years, including a comprehensive review of the literature on tooth-colored posts and evidence-based guidelines regarding their use. He also is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and serves as president of the Southern California section of the American College of Prosthodontists. Baba serves on the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics Tylman Research Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. Additionally, he is a representative of the American College of Prosthodontists to the CDA Interdisciplinary Affairs Committee and has lectured nationally and internationally. In February 2009, he received the Claude R. Baker Junior Faculty Award from The American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics for excellence in teaching predoctoral fixed prosthodontics.

The California Dental Association Foundation has announced Nadim Z. Baba, DMD, as the recipient of the 2010 Arthur A. Dugoni Faculty Award for his leadership, collaboration, philanthropic spirit and integrity in dental education. Dr. Baba, the fifth recipient of the Dugoni Faculty Award, is a professor at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. He teaches restorative, prosthodontics, biomaterials and removable prosthodontics courses at Loma Linda.
