Dental Esthetics: A Full Day Treatise on the Evolution of Esthetic Dental Knowledge through Case Presentation, Normal Feigenbaum, DDS This program will explore most of the esthetic principles developed during the last three decades. Topics include the reality based-smile design, which explores the tired and true principles of smile planning and design based on realistic anatomical arrangements. The first session will also include a ‘materials update,” explaining the use of variable optical composites; which ones, where and when. The second session, the evolution of extra coronal direct composite restorations, such as diastema closures, peg lateral transitions and malposed “instant” connections with lifelike results will be discussed. The session closes with discussion of tips for porcelain veneer cementation, finishing and re-polishing, while reconstructing a poorly designed smile step by step. |
