Accreditation

All ASI continuing medical education courses are produced by Audio-Digest Foundation. Audio-Digest Foundation is an affiliate of the California Medical Association. Audio-Digest Foundation activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the California Medical Association and the Audio-Digest Foundation. The California Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation: The California Medical Association designates each listed educational activity for amaximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Audio-Digest Foundation activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the California Medical Association and the Audio-Digest Foundation.

The American Academy of Family Physicians accepts Audio-Digest Family Practice for up to 96 hours and Audio-Digest Emergency Medicine activities for up to 48 hours of prescribed credit annually.

The American College of Emergency Physicians approves Audio-Digest Emergency Medicine for up to 48 hours of ACEP Category I.
The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts up to 2 hours of Category 1 CME credit for each Audio-Digest Activity completed successfully.
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners approves each Audio-Digest program for 2.0 contact hours of continuing education, including 0.5 contact hours of pharmacology continuing education.
The American Association of Nurse Anesthetists approves Audio-Digest Anesthesiology programs for up to 24.0 contact hours per volume year.

Many individual titles are offered as part of more than one course. You may only earn AMA Category 1 Credit one time for each title. If you are an ASI repeat student, or are an individual subscriber to Audio Digest, there is a chance you may register for material for which you have already earned credit. If either of these conditions apply to you, please advise our offices prior to registration.

ASI is an approved provider for the California Board of Dental Examiners. Credits satisfy California Dental Education Requirements, as well as most State and Dental Academy requirements.

Format

ASI COURSES are presented on audio format. Courses are updated regularly as new information becomes available. ASI will send you everything you need to complete your course and to receive your appropriate educational credit. We will send you the audio CD's and paperwork to complete your course. Upon completion, you keep the CD's and course written material. You return the pre- and post-test and evaluations in the provided pre-addressed envelopes.

Dates and Locations

You may take any ASI Course anywhere you choose, during the dates that you choose. Simply tell us where, when, and which course you will be taking. Your course will be sent to you to do at your own pace during the duration of the dates you have selected.

Documentation

With all ASI Courses, you will receive Receipts, Confirmation Letters, Course Written Material, Certificates, and Transcripts of Credit Earned. All documents reflect the course you took and the credit earned, as well as the location and dates of your course. If you have special documentation needs, or require specific letters or forms, please contact our office.

Canada and Non Mainland US Registrations

If your course will be taken or delivered to a location outside the Mainland US, special shipping conditions, time requirements, and fees may apply. See shipping options at time of checkout or call for details.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel 21 days or more prior to your start date and receive a full refund less a $35.00 per person non-refundable administrative fee. Cancellation within 21 days of your start date may also include additional charges ASI may have incurred.
