This customizable course includes topics commonly found on Foreign Medical exams.  You may select 10 topics for a full course.  This is not a practice exam nor a review for any specific country’s exam for practicing medicine within their country.  Similar topics and areas of medicine may exist within many of the Western medical exams.  This course is intended to help prepare you for areas of medicine for which you may need to study.

ASI recommends that you consult the country to which you will be applying for complete details on their medical exam requirements and subjects.

For medical professionals already licensed in the US or Canada, this course is approved for AMA PRA Category I credit and allows you to conveniently select topics that are most applicable to your practice.  Not all topics in our standard specialty courses are available for this customization.

Each of the continuing medical education, or CME, topics run 1 to 2 clock hours and are eligible for 2 AMA PRA Category I Credits. For a full course, you may choose any ten (10) or, for a short course, you may choose any five (5) topics from the list below**. Please choose 2 alternate topics as inventory selection may vary. Please list those 2 alternate topics in the "Customer Additional Information" field on the online registration form. Please select topic preferences by clicking the check box next to your preferred topics. Requirements vary from state to state. ASI recommends that you contact your state regulating board to obtain your specific requirements. Additional topics may be added to these selections and/or, any other ASI course, for $25.00 per credit ($50.00 per course).

To learn more about specific CME requirements for your state, please read the 2014 AMA publication, CME For Licensure.  All information in this publication is provided directly by the American Medical Association.
